When Your Child Drives You Crazy, the Book

Yup, Child Care Expert Eda Leshan penned a book with such a title, When Your Child Drives YOu Crazy. As you can guess, the title alone inticed me to pick this up at the library book store. I am yet to crack it though in moments like this, I am tempted to take a week off to study every chapter:

Yesterday, Cboy caught JBoy in the back of the house with a half a can of insect repellant in his hands. It was only 1/3 empty before then. Cboy calls me and when I get there JBoy is looking up at me with this Guilty look and goes, "Im sorry. I'm sorry." These days, he says those two words more than anything else cause he's always getting busted for doing some crazy stuff. And when I say "crazy"...I think I'm going to start documenting them in this blog. He's not going to believe me when I tell him about himself when he gets older.

The entire span of the back yard had the stench of the repellant. I couldn't tell if he was spraying himself with it.

So fast forward to this morning. His dad sees some streaks of white dried liquid on the SUV bumper and goes, "JBoy Did you do this?!?"

I go to drop off the kids at summer camp and as I go to open the passenger side door, I notice another huge spot of white creamy dried gunk.

What the heck was he spraying? Mosquitos? Was he treating the can like a bug killer? Was he trying to wax the van? I just don't understand the whacky logic of that kid.

He is quite the fun mischiefmaker. Like I've always said, he sure does keep life interesting!

HA!
