The kids loved hanging by the resort pool area. There was even a baby pool, kids pool, adult pool and a hot tub in one area. Fun. None of them took swim lessons this year, so it was great testing out their skills. CBoy is more comfortable in the water because he swam all summer in summer day camp. I discovered that GG is like a fish and knows how to paddle and everything. She doesn't cry when being dunked so that means she was a swimmer in her past life.
Unfortunately, JBoy is still scared of the water, but he is getting there. He is definitely a candidate for swim classes.
At the resort, the kids loved waking up and following the geese around the property and going on nature walks.
We must get Cboy and JBoy their own cameras this fall. Cboy took this photo.
GG was so sad to leave the Geese behind. She knows the word Geese and Goose and the boys too learned it wasn't gooses and geeses so they are learning exceptions to the plural rules. It was funny to hear them talk about the gooses though. hilarious!
I love this shot of a short pier in Virginia Beach because I am corny and it reminded me of the 8os slam "take a long walk off a short pier" that Valley girls were often spoofed as saying.
