Ten Tips for Being Fashionable on a Budget

1. Stock up on accessories from vintage shops and thrift stores. There's nothing like a unique clutch, classic faux fresh water pearls or chunky rings to set off an outfit.

2. Buy from discount stores like TJ Max, Gap Outlet, Burlington Coat Factory, Filene's Basement, Marshalls and Ross because they offer huge price discounts for the latest styles.

3. Stick with classic looks and styles, and add a dash of color or flair with a trendier item like a scarf.

4. Go to the stores for teenagers like Claires and get a cheap version of a more expensive handbag. If the rest of your ensemble is grown up, no one will know you have the cheaper alternative.

5. Buy from the clearance rack. You are bound to find a unique gem if you take the time to scroll through it.

6. Purchase winter fashions at the end of the season. Many times the fashion rolls over and stick around for another cycle the following year and you can still rock the style for half the price.

7. Shop at Thrift stores for classic iconic brands. You'll turn heads and be seen as a fashion in-styler because no one else will have your unique item.

8. Shop Ebay and other auction sites.

9. Wear the latest earring and bangles in fashion. People notice accessories much more than your outfit sometimes.

10. Shop overstock shops online like Overstock.com
