DC Area Moms: Cirque du Soleil & Other Fun Stuff to do this September

My little kids love bugs!...er well "insects" to be precise.  So I was very happy to see the National Children's Museum which is near where we live at the National Harbor in DC presentation of Insect Mania! The final performances will be tomorrow September 6 from 11am to 6pm  and Saturday, September 11 from 11am to 4pm.

From the National Children's Museum press release about the presentation:
If you like OVO by Cirque du Soleil, you’ll love this hands-on journey into the creepy, crawly world of insects. Unearth the ecosystems where insects live and learn about their complex bodies. Enjoy live and preserved insects and make a fun, insect-inspired craft.
For the final program on September 11, Cirque du Soleil will bring a colorful duo of Cirque-inspired ambient performers and an informative promo squad to the Launch Zone to get families excited about Insect Mania! and their latest show! In addition, they will provide an interactive OVO photo exposition with bright, large photos of the performance to help teach kids more about the bugs of OVO and Insect Mania!
How Fun!!
