It worked!!
This was one of those events that the Obama campaign has been encouraging people to host: mini fundraisers in their home. Friends of ours with a small group of their friends put this together at their Maryland home. The kids had fun. The food was great. We chatted for hours. They raised $2300.00!! Doubled their take from the last event held months before. I think this close to the race folks are giving more and are mobilized and energized and a bit scared of McPalin!
