Well, crayons, markers, paintbrushes and such that leave color markings on clean surfaces are banned. That is until we can figure out how to stop J-Boy's insane habit of writing on everything....OR he grows out of this stage. He didn't respond to my scolding, nor timeout, nor to firm smacks on the back of the hand, nor my or Trinihubby's booming and irate voices.
*sigh*
Just now, I scrubbed markings off of
3 dining room chairs
1 Hall Mirror
2 Basement Door
1 Hallway Wall
1 Dining room table
1 Portion of the Dining Room Floor
1 Portion of the Master Bedroom Floor
1 portion of the upstairs hallway wall
1 Portion of the office floor
These were made over the course of 2 weeks.
It seems TriniHubby is oblivious to the fact that leaving those markings there too long may leave permanent or sem-permanent damage to those surfaces and rather ask him to share the cleaning up process and get empty promises to "do it later", I did it myself. Well he had just done all the dishes, bathed the boys, read them stories and put them to bed, so I'll spare him the nagging. HA!
