I am cooking the turkey...while preggers and having fallen pretty badly yesterday evening after coming from a celebration dinner with the family and bruised up my knee.

A friend of mine and I were talking yesterday and she said something very poignant that struck a cord:

When you play the role of "super woman" or "super mom", your family really take for granted that you need help or forget when they are piling on your already stressed out schedule. They figure you are usually good with taking on extra challenges that you 9 times out of 10 HANDLE with finesse and precision....SO...in those oft times when you really need their help and CAN'T take anymore...they are rarely there to help.

OH SO TRUE!!! I'M SURE MANY SUPERMOMS CAN RELATE!

ENJOY THE DAY OF STUFFING...WE'LL WORK IT OFF BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!
