Trinihubby and I learned from past Christmases that there really is NO point in overindulging the boys by purchasing dozens of toys for them for Christmas because what usually happens is they are usually only interested in one or two select toys. Most of the time, they play with those and totally ignore the others leaving them to gather dust in the toy room.
This Christmas, which is a tight one budget wise anyway with a new baby on the way and our life in so much transition anyway, that we only got them one toy (from Santa), clothes from us and then when other relatives asked what to get, we told them what we knew their favorite gift would be.
J-Boy therefore, got an awesome train set from Santa that he has YET to stop playing with the the toy educational computer he got from Santa.
Meanwhile, C-boy got a couple of cool Sony Playstation 2 games from his Uncle, TriniD's brother, and two great car racing tracks from Santa and my sister.
I was so happy to get a collection of books from J-boys Godmother which we have been having fun reading everyday. We're gonna order some more from our good friend's online bookfair she has going on to benefit my nonprofit.
