Recession Food

Yum!! I discovered the yummiest Recession-caliber processed food at my local discount supermarket the other day:

At $1.00 a package, Nissin's Chow Pasta, in tomato basil or Alfredo flavors, is delicious, filling and the perfect portion for a lunch, or mini dinner. The kids and hubby love them. Who says you have to eat broth soup in the recession? ha!

I totally don't care that they have 11 g of fat and 32 carb grams per package! You can't beat lunch for a buck! edited to add:both options have a significant amount of protein, iron, Vitamin A and calcium. not bad.
