omg! my blog is being blog spammed by folks who just put links to their site to "see here". i suppose the intent is to drive traffic to their sites, where they then scrape peoples information or tag their email accounts as active for purposes of selling later to another third party spammer! omg! OR they could be "splogs"- spam blogs, script-compiled collections of non-blogs in blog clothing with post titles and/or keywords that are strictly there to maximize Google AdWords and AdSense.
i've gotten 3 such posts in the past 3 days.
if it's being done by a machine, i suppose activating the functionality requiring commenters to type in a confirmation code may do the trick! yikes!
