okay, i have to share a proud mischiefmaker moment because you know you nag your kids silly and teach them instructions on life and pray they actually listen and use them later on.
Today, the boys made a "get well" card for our next door neighbor who is dying with Stage 4 breast cancer. TriniDaddy and I took over the card and a small gift and visited her and her family .
Then tonight, when Cboy was assigned to say the family prayer before dinner, we asked him if there was anyone he wanted to pray for and we expected him to rattle off the litany of family members as per usual, but tonight, he started by saying he wanted to pray for the lady next door that she feels better!!!!
There is the boys' card, in the photo above, which was posted on the neighbor's final weblog for family and friends.*gush* big teary-eyed smiley face on me! so proud.
