WEDNESDAY Coffee FOLLY: EPA owes me!

Despite the fact that birds rain of poop nonstop over any car parked in the driveway...

AND notwithstanding the woodpecker that has periodically awaken me out of my sleep with his pecking...

AND the occasional rummaged and ransacked trash bin (compliments of Felix Squirrel or Friendly Fox or Oscar Possum), we love the nature and animals surrounding our home. After all, they were probably here first.

So in a cool environment Earth Day-like project for the boys,

we bought a $10.00 super pack of wild bird seed and me and the boys set up a feeder on Saturday

Only to discover Sunday morning an empty feeder...What da? Did the squirrel or the neighborhood cat knock the seeds out?

Okay, Take II. Monday morning full feeder. Tuesday evening we witnessed nearly all the neighborhood birds knocking each other over. Hovering in trees above....flapping and fighting to get a few moments at that feeder!

No wonder my neighbor took his feeder down. This could be an expensive charity...er gift to nature.

I'm going to be writing the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) to see if I qualify for any subsidy program! LOL!
