...I've learned along the way...and...
ADDING to the first five from a previous post, i've scribed an additional
Commandment 6: Thou shall not raise thy car stereo volume to the highest decibel to drown out crying and whining children driving you insane as you travel about. The other drivers may suspect and calleth Child Protection Services on you and then thy children will be mommyless. That is not good.
Commandment 7: Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's minivan or SUV or husband who cooks gourmet delicacies like glazed chicken, breaded fried plaintains and callaloo. Be happy with what thy haveth.
Commandment 8: Thou shall pour cleaner in the tub at night to giveth thy husband no other choice than to wash the bathtub in the morning
Commandment 9: Honor thy differences in each individual child. While one child may considereth the nightly bathtub routine as a luxury and treat, another may see it as a daily evil torture ritual brought about by satan himself.
Commandment 10: Thou shall be the first to ALWAYS volunteer to make pilgrimages to the store to pick up last minute items, for it is an excellent opportunity to ESCAPE and be one with thy thoughts sans the chaos of home and work.
