This version is the torrid tale of the banning of all the stuffed animals from the boys' room.
Yup. Even Kermit, Tigger and Cli
This eradication last night was part of the DHAS crack down. The Department of Homeland Allergen Security (that's me) is on a mission to rid our home of as many allergens as possible. We are all a coughing -wheezing-eyes watering -sneezing -nose running mess!
So far, we've almost met every benchmark towards JJ certification of an allergen-free home:
Microfiber allergen-relief covers on the mattresses, boxsprings and pillowcases. CHECK
Humidifiers for the rooms at night. CHECK
Basement dehumidifier. CHECK
Benedryl. Children's Claritin. Prescription Eyedrops. CHECK. CHECK. CHECK.
Ventilation system cleaning (ON ORDER)
I just know there's some hidden mold in our 50 year old basement and it doesn't help being surrounded by so much nature and trees.
The solution may be a newer home. *sigh*

Yah! to new home. Wish I could **sigh**
Kobie suffers terribly from allergies and April/May was a nightmare for me.
I bought:
every type of benadryl chewables $4@,
allergen pillows $40,
airpurifier $400
allergy free - unattainable.
On a serious note though much improvement has been noted in the last 3 weeks or so.
Geeez, nothing is safe from you is it?? ;)
Hope you all get well soon!
natashac. *sigh* unattainable, huh? i thought so. well, at least i'm happy to hear Kobie got better. the idea of pumping so much cough syrup and chewable medicine down the kids' throat makes me sad. :(
slick, thanks. nope DHAC shows no mercy.
