In honor of all people who are victims of senseless violence. Although, this idea started to honor the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings two weeks ago, many bloggers, including me, would like to dedicate this time to reflect on lives lost across the world from violence.
In particular, I'd like to dedicate this day to my native Sierra Leone, West Africa which is slowly recovering from an 11-year civil war where thousands were killed, maimed, raped and damaged, including members of my family.
